Orchard Hills Elementary is delighted to announce that Mrs. Megan Bird is coming to our school community! We are thrilled to have her join our dedicated staff, bringing a wealth of experience and a passion for fostering a positive and engaging classroom environment.

Mrs. Bird comes to us with 8 years of teaching experience, having taught 1st, 3rd, and 4th grades, as well as serving as an instructional coach for a year. Her ability to create a classroom community that inspires a love of learning is something we deeply value at Orchard Hills. As Mrs. Bird herself shares:

“I love teaching students and creating a positive classroom community that fosters a love for learning. I am thrilled to be back in the classroom.”

We know her commitment to students and her expertise will be a tremendous asset to our school.

Outside of teaching, Mrs. Bird enjoys spending time with her almost 5-year-old son, who keeps her on her toes! She also loves reading, camping, and painting. She’s eager to become reacquainted with the families and students that make Orchard Hills such a special place:
